Secutag®
Anti-Counterfeit Product Authentication and Identification
particles can be manufactured with layers smaller than 1 micrometer
([micro]). The smallest particle of five layers will be available
in a size range of 5 to 8[micro]. Pharmaceutical packagers
can reduce the risk of repackaging expired products, copied
products with no active ingredients or with wrong active ingredients
by sealing the batch number and expiration date with a clear
lacquer or ink containing Secutag particles. Larger sizes
for printing or spraying are 8 to 15[micro], 15 to 25[micro]
and 25 to 32[micro]. A variety of application methods permit
the marking of any substrate with Secutag, such as spraying
in-line of packaging, printing, labeling, thermo transfer,
mixing into products/packaging, extrusion into polyester fiber
or laminates. |
